Three names, one idea

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all botulinum toxin wrinkle relaxers. A few precise injections quiet the muscles that crease your forehead, brows, and eye area, so the lines those muscles make soften and, treated consistently, stop deepening.

The differences are practical. Dysport spreads a little wider and tends to show results in two to three days; Botox is the most studied and shows in four to five; Xeomin is the "naked" formulation, free of complexing proteins. We choose based on your anatomy, your history, and the area we're treating.

Will I look frozen?+

Not here. A frozen face is a dosing choice, not an inevitability, and it's the opposite of ours. We dose to soften the lines while your face keeps moving naturally. If it's your first time, we'd rather start conservative and add at your two-week follow-up than overshoot.

Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin — how do I choose?+

You don't have to; that's our job. Broadly: Dysport kicks in fastest and covers wider zones well, Botox is the most precise and most studied, and Xeomin suits patients who've built tolerance or prefer a formulation without complexing proteins. We'll recommend one for your anatomy at your Brentwood consultation.

How long does it last, and what does maintenance look like?+

Three to four months for most patients. Most of our Los Angeles regulars book three to four visits a year and treat it like a haircut: quick, scheduled, unremarkable. With consistent treatment, some patients find the lines soften enough to stretch appointments further.
